Women in the Word welcomes women who want to grow in their faith through studying the scriptures together. We use the Bible as our primary text. studying each passage verse by verse to observe, interpret and apply God's truth to our lives.
WHERE & WHEN WE MEET
We meet weekly, Tuesday mornings from 10:00 to 11:30 AM at Hopewell Church in Elverson, located at 2286 Hopewell Road.
Meet Susan Cook
Susan Cook is a homeschool evaluator and veteran teacher who loves Jesus and enjoys diving into God’s Word. She looks forward to walking alongside women as they grow together in knowledge and faith, studying Scripture verse by verse. She also loves digging deeply into the history and cultural context of biblical times to better understand the world in which Scripture was written.
Along with leading this Bible study, Susan enjoys attending local theatre productions, being in nature—whether in the woods, at the beach, or in her garden—watching English football and old movies, and writing poetry. She loves spending time with her friends and family and doing creative activities with her grandchildren.
