At Orbit, we believe that all of creation belongs to Jesus, so all our life should revolve around Him. On Sunday's, we have an interactive experience with God's Word together and learn about how it all points to Jesus. We have games, worship, and bible story all before the kids are given some quiet time to respond to God. The kids also get time in small group to pray and build relationships with their peers and their Shepherd. So join us as we seek to be good stewards of some of the Church's most valuable resources, the Word of God and our own children.
Grades K-4
Nursery & Preschool
During the Main Worship Service, we offer safe, fun and relevant programming for infants through five years every Sunday. Outside the Sanctuary, you will find a check in station for the Nursery where you can drop your child off. The nursery supports children up to 2 years old.
For the Pre-K kids, you can check in at the lower part of the building in the Gathering Place. Just follow the signs! You may drop off your child at any time, though we recommend you do so prior to entering the Sanctuary to maximize your ability to participate with the adults. It's up to you!
We encourage parents to drop off their children at Orbit Kids Ministry prior to the beginning of the Main Worship Service. You can check your child in at the lower part of the building in the Gathering Place. There are signs around to direct new attenders!
Children will participate in fun and games, relevant teaching from Pastor Kobi and meaningful small group activities and conversations with our Orbit Kids Ministry volunteers.
“BreakAway 56” gives our 5th and 6th graders a place to feel like they belong between the elementary and middle school ministries. During this time, we seek to help facilitate the emotional, social and spiritual development of the young people God has entrusted to us. We mentor our 56'ers to develop spiritual disciplines like personal prayer and devotions, reading and understanding the Bible for themselves, and including God in the everyday issues that 5th & 6th graders contend with in school, and life. Our leaders at BreakAway 56 consider it an honor to walk alongside our 56'ers as they start to understand the difference that Jesus can make in their life.
On Sunday mornings we encourage 5th & 6th graders to participate in worship with the adults, beginning at 8:30 and 10:30 AM. After worship has concluded, they are released to head over for Breakaway 56 teaching and activities.

Meet Pastor Kobi
Kobi Martin serves as Hopewell’s Children’s Pastor and brings an incredible amount of energy, joy, and heart to his role. With an endless supply of high fives and a gift for making every child feel seen and valued, he makes church a place where kids feel welcomed, loved, and excited to learn about Jesus.
He loves the Lord wholeheartedly and is passionate about creating a Christ-centered environment where children can grow, laugh, and discover God’s truth in a way that sticks with them for life.

Mast Farms Corn Maze

Load up your loved ones and come and join us for our monthly Family Nights! We do something different every month and they almost always take place on the last Friday from 6:30-8:30pm. We plan Family Nights to primarily appeal to elementary age kids, while doing our best to make each one something that all ages will enjoy.
