God Reaching Out to Widows
A compassionate widows support group dedicated to providing emotional support, faith-based encouragement, and heartfelt laughter in the midst of difficulty.
This is a safe and nurturing space where widows can come together in fellowship and connect with one another at Hopewell and in the local community. It is a place where widows can share their joys, sorrows and everything in between.
We work to find ways to include widows from all walks of life who may be working, home bound or unable to attend regularly.
We have occasional speakers, luncheons, field trips and perform community service projects together.
WHERE & WHEN WE MEET
We meet on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month from 10:00am - 12:00pm at Hopewell Church in Elverson, located at 2286 Hopewell Road. However, this group is open to any widow in the surrounding community.
Meet Phyllis Snyder
Phyllis leads G.R.O.W., a ministry close to her heart that provides comfort, connection, and Christ-centered encouragement for widows. She helps create a safe space where women can share their joys and sorrows, build friendships, and find strength in the Lord together. Through Bible-based encouragement, fellowship events, luncheons, service projects, and community outings, Phyllis is committed to walking alongside widows and reminding them that they are seen, loved, and never alone.
