Hive Christian Academy of Erbil
Jeremy and Kylie Barker live in Erbil, Iraq with their four children: Justus, Haven, Jago and Joby. They are (not literal) tentmakers working locally and embedded in a local (international) church. Jeremy works for the Religious Freedom Institute doing research and running programs to promote religious freedom for all. Kylie is the head of school at Hive Christian Academy, a new International Christian School that exists to help families live and serve in the region long-term. Piloting a new educational model, we aim to be a school that will center on the Good News of the Gospel by:
encouraging families as they carry out the role of educating their children.
equipping students to be lifelong learners and lovers of learning.
engaging students in character building and Biblical understanding.
