Women of Hope
Each of our journeys to and with God is like a tree - starting small and growing deeper and
fuller over time. Women of Hope is the branch within Hopewell specifically designed for
women to connect. Below are events created to inspire you, teach you and provide options
to turn the words of your spiritual journey into fruit to help others.
Our next Women's Conference / Retreat is scheduled for April 20-21, 2012 at the Worship Center in Leola, PA.
Among Friends Conference
This thing called life – it’s hard. But when women get in a room together and start sharing stories, powerful things happen. Camaraderie. Honesty. Laughter. Courage.
An Among Friends conference is a Friday night/Saturday morning gathering that gives women a break from the demands of their lives. A time to gather with friends, and be reminded that God has not forgotten us. He is not done writing our stories. The host for this event is singer/speaker, Kathy Troccoli. She will be joined by Chonda Pierce and Lisa Harper. For more information, visit www.amongfriendsconference.com.
Sessions will run on Friday evening, 7-9 pm and Saturday, 9-12:30 pm.

Queen for a Day
Queen for a Day is a day designed to encourage and serve women whose families are affected by disabilities. Mothers of children with disabilites and wives with disabled spouses can come and enjoy a day completely designed to give them a break. Community Evangelical Free Church in Elverson hosts this special event in October where women are served through worship, words of encouragement, a craft, lunch and pampering with manicures, make-up, massages, hair styling and more. Volunteers are also needed to help. We need help with providing services as well as decorating, hors d'oeuvres, lunch, invitations, greeters, music, tea room, gift bags, set-up and tear down. Contact Carol or Deborah at the numbers above.
