Purpose Groups

Purpose Groups focus on a specific life situation and tend to meet for a designated length of time. Our purpose groups are Financial Peace University, GriefShare, DivorceCare, DC4K and Crossroads Career Network. For more information contact Chris McNamara at chrism@hwcf.org.

Crossroads Career Network If you're unemployed or in an employment transition, this class is for you! There is no cost for this 8 week class and the Crossroads Career Network provides a world-class, Christ-centered career search portal with over 100 selected links to career sites. You will receive personal coaching and mentoring to sharpen resume building and interviewing skills. Invite a friend to come with you to learn more about opportunities that are available. Divorce Care is a group for those who are experiencing the strain of separation or divorce at all stages. Whether you are contemplating, navigating through, or putting the pieces back together in the aftermath, this group is a place where you can find help, hope and healing. Financial Peace University is a 13-week life-changing program that empowers and teaches you how to make the right money decisions to achieve your financial goals and experience a total money makeover. It is a video-driven, biblically-based small group study that will teach you how to save money, live on a budget, communicate about money, eliminate debt, find bargains, and experience the joy of giving. Grief-Share If you have lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you will find help, discover hope, and expereince healing as you work your way through your loss with others who have experienced something similar.
